DaBaby Is Forgiven By LGBTQ Organization After Making Homophobic Comments At Rolling Loud

DaBaby has been forgiven by an LGBTQ organization following the homophobic comments he made during his performance at Rolling Loud back in July.

According to TMZ on Tuesday (November 2nd), Gwendolyn D. Clemons, the CEO of Relationship Unleashed, said that she and her colleagues have forgiven DaBaby because he has educated himself since receiving backlash for his comments.

Relationship Unleashed was one of the LGTBQ and HIV/AIDS awareness organizations that the rapper met with back in August.

Clemons is also OK with DaBaby performing at shows and events, saying that the information he received at their meeting resonated with him.

However, the same can't be said for Dave Chappelle, who defended DaBaby during his recent Netflix special The Closer, but was also accused of making insensitive comments about the transgender community. Clemons said Chappelle's standup was “hate speech disguised as comedy” and claims that he showed no empathy after being accused of being transphobic.

In other news, DaBaby has announced his upcoming Live Show Killa tour. The trek will kick off on November 26th in Chicago and will make stops in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Denver and Phoenix before wrapping up in Los Angeles on February 6th.

Tickets go on sale on Friday (November 5th).
