Bike Against Violence begins at six tonight at the City Life Center on East Court Street in Kankakee. Those twelve and older are welcome to ride in the free event.

Kankakee City Council Monday night unanimously passed a resolution to upgrade the software that runs Comcast Public Access Channel 4. Mayor Curtis says the current software is about fifteen years old. Mayor Curtis says the software upgrade on Channel 4 will cost around 44-thousand dollars.
