Bike Against Violence
It's National Youth Violence Prevention Week. Troy Luie of Kankakee United says the have organized a Bike Against Violence event tonight from six to eight. Bike Against Violence begins at six tonight at the City Life Center on East Court Street in Kankakee. Those twelve and older are welcome to ride in the free event.

City Council okays Channel 4 upgrade
Kankakee City Council Monday night unanimously passed a resolution to upgrade the software that runs Comcast Public Access Channel 4. Mayor Curtis says the current software is about fifteen years old. Mayor Curtis says the software upgrade on Channel 4 will cost around 44-thousand dollars.
