By Music News Jul 20, 2023 | 7:00 PM

Alice Cooper‘s new single, “White Line Frankenstein” features Rage Against The Machine‘s Tom Morello on guitar and backing vocals.

The song will be on his next album, Road, which comes with a bonus DVD/Blu-Ray of Cooper's full 2022 Hellfest performance. The album also features appearances by MC5‘s Wayne Kramer, Buckcherry‘s Keith Nelson, and guitarist Kane Roberts.

Cooper commented about the new album, “In the past, the show got reviewed before the music did. We had hit #1 albums, but it was always about what we did on stage. For Road, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs. I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. That’s what we did for this record. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”

He also just added more dates to his summer and fall tour. Outside of that, he’ll play three co-headlining concerts with Rob Zombie as part of a Halloween Hootenanny.

Road, will be available on August 25.
