Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign are being sued for copyright infringement by Donna Summer's estate for using her song “I Feel Love” in their Vultures 1 track “Good (Don’t Die).” The suit claims the rappers asked to use the hit, were firmly denied due to West's “controversial history,” then hired a sound-alike to sing altered lyrics over the melody.

The suit is asking for $150,000 for each act of infringement to “recover compensatory damages, maximum statutory damages, attorneys’ fees and disgorgement of any profits.” Attorneys for the Summer estate say the suit is “about protecting Summer’s own musical legacy and one of popular music’s most influential and ground-breaking songs.”
