ANDERSON COOPER AND ANDY COHEN TAKE SHOTS AGAIN DURING CNN’S NEW YEAR’S EVE SPECIAL: Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen brought the booze back to CNN’s New Year’s Eve special on Sunday night (December 31st). The hosts downed multiple shots together, and a clip of Cooper laughing hysterically at John Mayer in a cat café in Tokyo has gone viral. “There are cats everywhere, I mean, they’re licking each other,” Cohen says in the clip, while Anderson can’t stop laughing.
ANA OFELIA MURGUIA DIES AT 90: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mexican actor Ana Ofelia Murguía has passed away at the age of 90. Murguía voiced the character “Mama Coco” in the 2017 Pixar film Coco. She starred in close to 100 movies over the span of her career, including Life Sentence and The Queen of the Night. Culture Secretary Alejandra Frausto Guerrero told the outlet, “She leaves an enormous void on our country’s sets.”

A teaser for the new season shows Ellen Pompeo‘s Meredith Grey returning to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital after moving to Boston at the end of the 19th season. This comes after Pompeo announced last year that she’d have a pared-down role in the show moving forward.
RYAN REYNOLDS TEASES ‘DEADPOOL 3:’ Ryan Reynolds gave fans a glimpse at Deadpool 3 in an Instagram post shared Saturday (December 30th) that looked back on 2023. One photo shows the Spirited actor walking while wearing the Deadpool costume without the mask. “Thank you 2023 part 1. In no real order. I got to spend most of the year working and playing with the people,” he wrote in the caption. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 26th, 2024.
