Greta Van Fleet Postponed Tour Dates Due To Illness

By Music News Mar 20, 2022 | 7:00 PM

Illness within the band forced Greta Van Fleet to postpone a few US shows last week, including on Saturday (March 19th) in Huntington, WV after guitarist Jake Kiszka was hospitalized with pneumonia. That postponement came on the heels of the cancellation of two shows in Michigan early last week due to Josh Kiszka being unwell.

The shows in Flint and Ypsilanti have already been rescheduled for September 13th and 14th, respectively. The Huntington is now set for August 10th.

Greta Van Fleet hope to resume their Dreams In Gold Tour on Tuesday (March 22nd) in Madison, WI.

On Saturday, the band shared the news of their lastest postponement with fans on social media writing, “While Josh has mostly recovered, Jake’s diagnosis is more complex. What started as a small cough on Tuesday rapidly progressed overnight requiring his admission to the hospital yesterday. The last 24 hours have been arduous as doctors were unsure of the exact illness. Fortunately, after further evaluation, they are confident in their diagnosis of pneumonia and an optimal course of treatment has been determined.”
