Five Finger Death Punch Member Named Ketucky Colonel

Five Finger Death Punch member Chris Kael was honored with the title of Kentucky Colonel by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The title recognizes “noteworthy accomplishments or outstanding service,” according to antimusic.com.

On Sunday (July 4th), Kael shared the news on social media writing, “I am OFFICIALLY Colonel Kael now! Thanks @mikespears83 and @govandybeshear for making this happen. As a kid from Kentucky who followed his dreams until he caught them, this is an absolute honor. . .”

Other rockers to receive the state's title of Colonel include Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford, Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant, John Lennon, KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde.
