During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Finance Committee, County Treasurer Nick Africano took some time to recognize local banks that accept yearly property tax payments
Africano went on to say that local banks collect about a third of all property tax dollars collected by the county and without their help, his office would need at least two more employees.
