Benton County IN issues burn ban

The Board of Commissioners in Benton County Indiana have issued a burn ban. In an executive order signed Monday, the Board of Commissioners said that because of a prolonged period of drought and dried vegetation, concerns have risen about the threat of brush, field and wildfires. The burn ban is in effect from now until further notice.
