Drought concerns return

You might now be able to tell it by the weather today, but drought concerns have started to make their way back into the area. The latest map jsut released Thursday from the US Drought Monitor places all of Kankakee, Will and Grundy Counties in the “abnormally dry” category. Additionally, the northeaster third of Iroquois County is listed as abnormally dry, as is a small northern sliver of Ford County. The latest report includes data gathered by the US Drought Monitor through Tuesday of this week
