A special meeting of the Manteno Village Board was held at seven this morning. Mayor Annette LaMore made a statement to open the meeting.
The Mayor went on to outline the portions of Manteno Village code she felt were violated by the special meeting.
Mayor LaMore went on to point out there is a regular meeting of the Village Board set for Monday evening. After making her statement, Mayor LaMore left the meeting which continued with Truestees Budreau, Crockett, Gesky and Zimblemen, Trustee Crockett acting as Mayor Pro-Tem.
Also during this morning’s meeting Manteno Trustees approved the August 17th Board meeting minutes to correct the date on the minutes which had incorrectly been dated August 7th. The Board also voted to enter a professional service agreement with B & F Construction Code Service Incorporated for some Code enforcement inspections for the Village.
