A Kankakee Man was arrested by city police early Wednesday morning for allegedly threatening someone with a knife. According to reports, officers were called to an apartment in the 1400-Block of South 6th Avenue around 1 a.m. Wednesday regarding a confrontation involving a knife. When police arrived, the victim showed video footage to officers showing 39-year-old Darryon L. Jones allegedly making threats to her with a knife. Police found two knives under the couch cushion where Jones allegedly sleeps. He was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated assault and intimidation.
