County Clerk reports Phishing Scheme

Kankakee County Clerk Dan Hendrickson warns you not to open any email you might get that looks like it came from his office. Apparently there’s an email making the rounds with “Your County Clerk couldn’t confirm registration” in the “regarding” section and requesting the recipient to click a link to confirm their registration.  Hendrickson says the email is a phishing scheme and warn you not to click on the link. The County Clerk’s office says they will only communicate with you about voter registration through the US Mail. They say you can contact their office if you have any questions.
