Kankakee City Police say the 62-year-old woman reported missing from a group home as been found safe. In a Facebook post just before Noon this morning, Kankakee Police say Evelyn Alexander has been found safe and is no longer missing. City police were called to the group home just after 5:30 Saturday night by an employee at the home who said Alexander had wandered away and may be in danger. Kankakee city police thank everyone for their assistance in safely locating her. No details were provided on exactly where Alexander was found. Just to say she was safe.
