Testimony continues today in the Xandria Harris murder trial. Yesterday’s testimony, focused on evidence submitted by the Kankakee County State’s attorney’s office surrounding the fatal December 2021 police shooting.
After a delayed morning session reviewing cell phone records and body cam footage, testimony shifted to the Indiana home where Harris’s then boyfriend, Darius Sullivan, surrendered. Prosecutors presented recovered firearms and a receipt bearing Harris’s name, while defense attorney Cierra Norris emphasized that Harris was never seen at the house.
A gun expert testifies next, with the trial expected to run through next Friday.
