The Northern Indiana Public Service Company, or NIPSCO continues to struggle to get power back for tens of thousands of customers in Northwest Indiana. Power is slowly being restored to the region.
Meanwhile, Com-Ed says most of their customers in our listening area are back online with only about a thousand customers still without power. The majority of those up around Beecher where some 500 ComEd customers are still in the dark. Com Ed says it could be tomorrow before the power is back on.
