Fire damages Lowell home

Fire destroyed a garage in Lowell Thursday. In a Facebook post, the Lowell Fire Department says firefighters were called to the fire in the 12-hundred block of Gatewood Drive about five Thursday night. When they got there firefighters found heavy fire coming from the garage which was attached to the house. Everyone inside the house got out safely and firefighters quickly doused the flames. They say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
