Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report a drug bust. In a Facebook post, deputies say it was Tuesday evening when they stopped a car driven by Chen XinXin of Chicago. A search of his car allegedly turned up some 30 pounds of suspected cannabis. Reports say that lead to a search warrant being issued for a home in rural Crescent City, where Iroquois County Deputies say they found a marijuana growing operation with more than a thousand plants, 18 grams of meth and a firearm. XinXin was arrested by deputies on various drug-related charges.
