Gas prices are up as we head into the weekend. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas is four-dollars-10 cents across the Land of Lincoln. That’s up five cents overnight. Gas in the Kankakee area is up three cents overnight to three-95 a gallon on average. Triple-A says gas is running 3.99 on average in Iroquois County, 4.05 on average in Ford County, 3.97 on average in Grundy County and four-dollars-10 cents a gallon on average in Will County.
Across the state line, Triple-A says a gallon of gas will set you back three-dollars-16 cents on average in Newton County, it’s 3.31 on average in Benton County and 3.29 on average in Jasper County. Triple-A says gas is running three-dollars-26-cents a gallon on average across the Hoosier State.
