Most of the power outages in our area from Wednesday night’s storms have been taken care of by ComEd, with only a few outages still reported near Momence, Beecher and Peotone. Damage from the tornadoes in Livingston County have cause massive outages in the area around Streator and a few are reported near Reddick.
Ameren is dealing with several outages across the southern portion of our listening area with some four-thousand Ameren customers without power this morning in Iroquois County alone. There’s no word on when power may be restored to those areas.
