The mayor of Arlington Heights still believes the Bears could build a stadium in the Northwest Suburb. During a Village Board meeting this week, Mayor Jim Tinaglia said he was disappointed in the state legislature for failing to pass a stadium bill before ending the spring session this past weekend. However, he thinks a potential deal for the Bears to move to Arlington Heights is still on the table. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson still believes the team could remain in Chicago, saying he is the only one to present a viable plan for a publicly-owned stadium.
