Local gas prices have taken another jump. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas is up to four-dollars-98 cents across the Land of Lincoln. That’s up a nickle overnight. Gas prices in the Kankakee area jumped another 14 cents overnight to four-dollars 95 cents a gallon. Gas up 49 cents this past week. A gallon of gas will set you back four-dollars-91 cents on average in Iroquois County. It’s 4.91 on average in Ford County, 4.92 a gallon in Grundy County and 4.94 on average in Will County.
Across the state line, Triple-A says a gallon of gas will set you back four-dollars-64 cents on average in Newton County. It’s 4.89 a gallon in Benton County and 4.83 on average in Jasper County. Triple-A says a gallon of gas is running 4.75 on average across the Hoosier State.
