One person is dead following a semi vs train crash in rural Jasper County Indiana over the weekend. Jasper County Sheriff’s Police say the crash happened at a rural crossing between Rensselaer and McCoysburg just after eight Saturday morning. The semi driver died in the crash. His name has not yet been released. Jasper County Deputies say a handful of people from the Amtrack train were treated on the scene for minor injuries. The train had nearly 100 people on board at the time of the crash.
