Deputies Investigate Alleged Beating

Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police are investigating after a woman called them Tuesday to say she’d been beaten while working at a senior living facility in Pembroke Township. The victim called deputies Tuesday to say she was approached by two people as she left the facility and the duo threatened her over an incident from last week. The victim went on to say she was approached by three other women who began to hit her and knocked her to the ground. It was at that time, she says some residents of the facility intervened. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
