Butter Recall

A plant-based butter brand is being recalled in 10 states due to possible yeast, mold and E-coli contamination. The Food and Drug administration says the recall involved Miyoko’s Creamery European Style Salted Plant Milk butter made by Prosperity Organic Foods of Boise Idaho and was sold in 10 states, including Illinois, Indiana and Iowa. They say some 13-hundred packages have been recalled, but didn’t release any information about how to identify the recalled butter.
