Efforts to disband Bourbonnais Township Highway department takes a turn

Efforts by the Bourbonnais Township Board of Trustees to eliminate the Road Department have taken a twist. Township Highway Commissioner Jason Diaz posted a video on Facebook Wednesday, where he plays a message from his township provided cell phone that Diaz purports to have come from Bourbonnais Township Assessor Doug Anderson. The message apparently meant for the previous Highway Commissioner. Because of potential legal implications and some of the language used in the message, we have chosen not to air any of the audio, but you can see the video on Jason Diaz’ Facebook page.
