Kankakee City Police look for two from fight

Kankakee City Police are investigating after a girl showed up at the police station Sunday saying she and a friend had been jumped and beaten while walking near the 100 block of South 8th Avenue. According to reports, the girl said she and her friend were walking to Alpiner Park when two people they knew approached them and started the fight. City Police say they called the girls mother who said she’d be taking her daughter to the hospital to be checked out. Police continue to investigate.
