There are a lot of celebrations going on this weekend to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Among them the Jasper County 250 Saturday at the Jasper County Fairgrounds in Rensselaer. Tammy Culp is one of the organizers of the event and she says things get started early Saturday morning
Culp says the opening ceremonies are at 10:30 and then the festival hits full swing
