Herscher Police report a home invasion. According to reports, it was just before 10 Monday night when officers were called to a home in the 100 block of North Mulberry for a suspect forcing his way into the home. When they got there, officers allegedly found 38-year-old Anthony Coruso of Kankakee fighting with a woman inside the home. Police also allegedly found Coruso to have a loaded gun on him. Coruso was arrested by Herscher Police on preliminary charges of Home Invasion and aggravated battery. Police say the incident is under investigation.
