During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Finance Committee, County Treasurer Nick Africano told the committee his department has been working on a new website and he hopes to have it launched before tax time this year. Africano said part of the website will add to transparency in his office

Africano noted the new website should be up in about three weeks, the app should be available by mid-summer
