A woman and her two dogs are safe after fire damaged her home in Manhattan Monday afternoon. In a Facebook post, Manhattan fire says crews were called to the three-story home on Pauling road just after two yesterday afternoon. When they got there, firefighters say they found smoke and fire showing from the third floor and attic of the home. The fire was reportedly brought under control quickly. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it was thought to have started in a furnace unit in the attic of the home.
