The City of Kankakee Economic and Community Development Agency is now accepting construction bids for the two million dollar grant they received from the state to go towards the expansion of the Harbor House emergency homeless shelter. Executive Director Barbi Brewer-Watson says there are seven different items contractors can submit bids for.
Brewer-Watson said packets to bid on the project can be found on the City of Kankakee website under the Clerk’s office page.
