Britney Spears‘ jeweler has shared details about her stunning engagement ring.
Roman Malayev with Forever Diamonds in New York says he met her fiancé, Sam Asghari on Instagram and they struck up a friendship about 3 months ago.
He said Sam was “super easy” to work with and was very involved with the design and wanted it to be timeless, elegant, and classy.
Sam had told him, that because Britney is such an iconic figure and she's basically on top of the world, he wanted to use a “floating diamond” concept.
The ring is a four carat cathedral style diamond, with four diamonds that are flush set in the basket and four diamonds that are flush set on the prongs.
There’s also diamond detailing on the bridge and a very special hidden diamond underneath the bridge.
On the inside, the ring is engraved with the word “Lioness.” Sam thought that word encompassed who Britney is as an individual.
When asked about the price of the ring, the jeweler said they always protect the privacy of their clients, so he didn’t disclose the cost.
