Chvrches made three big announcements at once.
A new album, a new song, and a tour this fall.
The new album, Screen Violence, will be out on August 27, and the newly released song from it is called, “How Not to Drown.” A clip of it was released online and features Robert Smith of The Cure.
The album was recorded remotely during the pandemic and the band produced it themselves. Screen Violence was actually an early name for the band.
This will be Chvrches’ fourth album and the follow-up to 2018’s Love Is Dead.
Chvrches also announced a 26 stop tour that begins November 9, in Houston and will wrap in Los Angeles on December 17.
